“Montmartre”Montmartre In 2024 I returned to France, this time days are spent in Paris walking The Montmartre area before my Art Residency just a few hours by train into the countryside. For two weeks I paint in a tiny studio in an 18th century chateau. My third floor atelier overlooks stately grounds of a former hunting lodge as well its snug hamlet, forest in fall colours and coddled cottages surrounding an ancient church.
